This area consists of a few linked trails, mostly an outer loop with a couple access lines and an interior connector. Starting from the parking lot here, there is a mile of non motorized cinder road to get to the trails. The trails are mostly doubletrack width with a little singletrack and a lot of sand. There are very steep climbs and just a little tech other than the sand.
From exit 203 on I-25 about 20 miles south of Albuquerque, go west almost 3 miles and look for the parking lot on the left for the El Cerro de Los Lunas preserve.
